These days I’ve been very busy. I’m starting a new job teaching high school in the Fall. The girls are growing up fast and we’ve been trying to get the oldest into summer sports. I’ll be included this month in a short story anthology by the fine folks over at Worldsmyths (find out more here: https://www.worldsmyths.com/publications/darkness-and-moonlight-a-worldsmyths-anthology/ )
To top off the busy, I have a debut novel coming out at the end of Fall. That’s the goal anyway. I’m going into a final round of queries as we speak, so wish me luck. But otherwise, I’ve decided that with all of this completed artwork for Maiden to None it might be best to self publish. I enjoy the marketing side of book publishing and I fully intend on doing my pitch all over the west coast. Be it one or a thousand copies sold, I would love to have someone read my novel. (And hopefully they enjoy it too.)

In the meantime, it is important to always have a project on the backburner. And this one might just be ready to catch fire. I have a side story that I would like to tell contained within my universe of stories. Webcomics are somewhat new for me and I’m still learning the scripting process. However, I’ve been enjoying that author IG life, and I’m ready to give it a shot.
Again, wish me luck.

I’ve been working with a really talented artist on some character designs. (This is her IG page https://www.instagram.com/corn2611/ )
This side story is very near and dear to me as it was one of the first short stories I ever wrote, and it acts as a very important origin story that may or may not be explored in the main novels of my Terkian Triplets series.
Anyways, here are the starting character models. Hoping to have a few panels done over summer and get into a good routine from there.
What do you think?
